I've citalopram over a number of years, 8 months. It was the first antidepressant that I have and I was a bit scared to take it. Whatever .... I .... and I'm glad I did. It has really helped me out of a hole! There were few side effects do not help at first, my anxiety disorder at a time! But once they knew that they only side effects of the drug that was in order. Anyone can occur various side effects are drowsiness mines, and if my skin came into a rash of small blisters that I am in a bathroom. The worst, he had a decreased interest in sex all the time he was doing, and feel that is not 100% with all the time: (Another positive point is that I had Celexa No 'no problem, they leave only to reduce the dose for a few weeks, then they should. I had no withdrawal symptoms ANY.
Last year I had a little relapse, and before it so bad that I was in "the hole" again, I returned to my GP and between us we decided to create a new short-course SSRIs. SHCitalopram and he wanted to again, but I asked if it was something else (COS), the sexual desire of the thing, and she told me that escitalopram is a new, I assume that more refined version of Celexa with fewer side effects. I have been apart for several months without side effects (of which, a little sleep during the first week) Infact ... I almost forget that I am nothing! BUT .... I began my dose reduced recently, so I and I think it is more difficult with citalopram (Tho I do!
Good luck and take care:)

It's better than not having them. Believe me, they have done wonders for me

Good luck :-)

I have to work citalopram and still not for me, depends on the dose to 10 mg to start, but I preferred to change Mirtazepene as citalopram did not work for all, gentle.
